Your computer will restart several times during installation

Ruddy Microsoft. I hate the warning that comes up on my XBox during its ever-so-frequent software updates – the machine may restart. May? Surely they know whether or not it’s going to do that?

Yeah, the experience of installing Windoze hasn’t improved much. It still offers a million useless questions and warnings about securing your computer. Whoever came up with the name of “accelerators” for browser preferences and plug-ins in Explorer too?

That’s easy: “Could try harder”.

The impression I always get with Windows is that it desperately needs a change of corporate cultural thinking. However much polish they try to put into it, the mindset bleeds through every time and it is just an awful, awful experience.
