Social Play

I’ve just finished up a chapter in my PhD about social play. Most of it is about online interaction, but quite a bit is about how to bring strangers together to make connections in public spaces.

  • thanks Andy for posting this. Its such a joyful example of affect and demonstrates the dynamic of Canetti's Open crowd so sweetly. I'm going to use this in a new course on publishing ( in the broadest possible sense) that Andrew Murphie are teaching this year. crowdsourcing, collaboration. etc.
