I&#039;ve also been twittering less recently too because all my energy has been going into setting up new courses, etc. That said, Twitter at least allows me to keep some kind of voice out there. I&#039;ve lamented the correlation before, watching blogs I enjoy deteriorate in the wake of newly established twitter streams by the authors. I think of it as conservation of energy. There&#039;s only so much bandwidth you can devote to self-publishing. And to my mind 140 characters may be enough space to proclaim that something exists, but not to add value by placing that something within a larger context.&lt;/p&gt;
